Message from the Annex director   

 

 

          The establishment of this academic and educational institution, the "Annex of the Higher Teacher Training School - Guelma," by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, comes within the framework of the state's policy aimed at expanding the network of higher education institutions nationwide. This expansion is driven by contemporary cognitive transformations that seek to propel educational practices towards competition, collaboration, quality, and excellence. It is motivated by the desire to build educational practices based on modern scientific foundations, adapted to the demands of rapid technological development and artificial intelligence, which has become dominant in various aspects of life in contemporary societies. Therefore, laying the foundation for this annex, like its counterparts throughout the country, aims to:

 

  • Meet national demand: Respond to the growing need for qualified teachers at all three levels of education.

  • Enhance the quality of training: Provide high-quality training that meets academic and professional standards.

  • Optimize the use of infrastructure: Utilize the existing university facilities and equipment available across the country.

  • Implementing decentralization: Expanding the training base and bringing it closer to the provinces.

 

          On the other hand, the establishment of the "Higher Teacher Training School Annex - Guelma" fulfills a long-held dream of the region's inhabitants, both in whispers and in loud voices across various platforms. It represents a response from the state to the residents' aspirations for intellectual and educational advancement in the region. In the same vein, it is a crucial step towards ensuring the availability of qualified teaching staff and improving the training system in the region.

 

          What reinforces this sense of satisfaction is the enthusiasm and eagerness to join this academic and educational institution among the best and brightest high school graduates, seeking knowledge and training that will qualify them in the future to practice the teaching profession, one of the noblest professions in the civilizational advancement of nations.

 

          From my position as the coordinator of this annex, my primary responsibility is overseeing its academic and pedagogical aspects, including monitoring the progress, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum, coordinating various educational activities, and ensuring their alignment with official directives. I am also entrusted with the responsibility of supporting the pedagogical framework of the existing disciplines, overseeing program implementation, ensuring the efficient use of educational resources, and managing administrative and evaluation processes within the annex.

 

          At this juncture, I must emphasize our commitment to fulfilling our scientific and ethical obligations in advancing this educational and scientific endeavor towards achieving its scientific and cultural objectives with socio-economic benefits. This aligns with the goals set by the administration of the University of 8 May 1945 in Guelma for developing its scientific and academic structures, meeting the aspirations of the local population, and contributing to a brighter future for our country.
